YD22DD

Winner of FY 1998 Sho-Ene Taisho (Energy Conservation Award). YD22DD used in Nissan van & amp; Expert W11. It is a non-turbo engine that uses an electronically controlled rotary injection pump VP44.

YD22DDT (VP44 pump)

YD22DDT is used on X-Trail, N16 Almera. It features an electronic rotating injection system VP44 and a turbocharger contained. The VP44 pump model is easily visible due to the flat acoustic cover on the top of the machine.

YD22DDTi (commonrail)

The YD22DDTi is a commonrail diesel introduced in 2001, during the first minor facelift of the P12 Primera, N16 Almera and V10 Almera Tino. It's also mounted on the Nissan X-trail. The injection system is commonrail with variable turbocharger intercooled and produces the most power and torque of all YD22 engines. Cars with these commonrail engines usually carry DDTI badges. The commonrail version is easily distinguished from the VP44 model by 4 injector bulges at the top of the acoustic cover.

Non-engine versions of these engines are also available with a lower power rating.

YD25DDTi (VP44 Pump)

This machine has a VP44 rotary injection pump and turbocharged and intercooler. In Presage/Bassara it is mounted sideways with variable turbocharger propeller (garrett GT1749V) and limited torque of up to about 280 N (mb? 207) accommodates a 4 speed automatic gearbox attached. At D22 Navara/Kingcab/Frontier, the engine is basically the same as a modification for accessories, mounts and pipe to accommodate an elongated engine layout. Turbo is the IHI RHF4 wasted which is also intercooled. The stronger gearbox allows it to generate more torque than the Presage/Bassara version.

YD25DDTi High Power (commonrail aka DCi)

Description of the YD25DDTi model technically refers to the YD25 engine that uses VP44 rotary electronic injection pump and runs the injection path to each cylinder. This DDTi machine was last used in Presage/Bassara and D22 navara.

The common rail version of this machine is called in Europe as DCi. Commonrail machine used in D40 navara, end model D22 navara and R51 pathfinder. This is the machine called below.

YD25DDTi High Power was developed in 2005 for Nissan Navara (D40) and Nissan Pathfinder (R51). Originally producing 126 kW (171 PS, 169 hp) @ 4,000 rpm and 403 N m (297 Â lb? Ft) of torque. In 2010, Nissan updated the engine for Nissan Navara (D40) and Nissan Pathfinder (R51) facelift to produce 140 kW (190 PS, 188 hp) and 450? N? M (332 Â £ lb? Ft) of torque. In 2011 Nissan Murano is equipped with an updated engine that produces 140 kW (190 PS, 188 hp) and 450 m (332 pounds) of torque.
