Instruments such as-carbons with less than 23 bells are called chime .
American bells usually have one to one and a half octaves of diatonik. Many bells are automated.
The first bell bell was invented in 1487. Prior to 1900, chime bells usually lacked dynamic variation and inner tuning (mathematical balance of intricate bell sounds) required to allow the use of harmony. Since then, bells ranged in Belgium, the Netherlands, Britain, and America have an inner tuning and can produce a fully harmonious music. Several towers in Britain are hung for a circle of full rings blended by the Ellacombe tool.
