Carpet cleaners truckmount are carpet and seat cleaner units that are generally fitted to the floor of a van or trailer. The cleaning method is hot water extraction. The operator will park the van near the venue, connect the vacuum hose and solution hose to the engine, carry the hose into the building, and connect the carpet cleaning rod to the end of the hose.

Heat exchanger
The heat exchanger method uses heat generated naturally by the normal operation of the machine and in some cases, the vacuum pump component of the system. Typically, water flows through a heat exchanger, which consists of two separate parts. In one section, the heat is directed. In the second part, water passes through. Two parts share two sides of the common surface inside the exchanger; therefore heat is removed from the "hot side" side to higher temperatures to the "solution side" with lower temperatures.

In a shell and tube configuration, heat flows through parallel tubes and water flows through the shell.

Traditionally, carpet cleaning machines are more powerful than portable carpet cleaning units. Although recent changes in technology have enabled portable manufacturers to approach the power of truckmount carpet cleaning machines, today trucks are stronger because they generate power cleaners from portable engines and electricity generating power cleaners from electrical sockets at customers' homes.
The main advantage of truckmount lies in carpet cleaning customers, because trucks do not have to use customer electricity or hot water so that means no expensive electricity and gas bills in the old post after the carpet cleaning company leaves your home.
Truckmount also has a waste tank installed so that technicians can take dirty water and do not end up in your sink or toilet, the quick and easy setting using truckmount makes it preferable among professional cleaners. Unfortunately, only a small number of carpet cleaning companies use truckmount because the cost is usually between $ 10,000 to $ 35,000 US, and therefore can not be reached by many small and professional companies. Currently, it is estimated that only 28% of professional carpet cleaners use truckmount carpet cleaning machines.
Many truckmount manufacturers do environmental improvements such as LPG conversion or changes to make the engine use less gasoline or diesel that makes it more environmentally friendly.

The gasoline or diesel engine engine drives the high pressure pump and the vacuum blower with direct drive. The engine will generally have a self-mounted starter motor with a tensile starter and alternator that charges the battery and supplies a 12-volt DC current to all electrical components. An electric fuel pump requested is fitted to the fuel tank or engine and supplies the carburetor or injector to the engine with a fuel tank normally installed in the chassis of the van to supply the fuel pump.
An PTO unit or power take-off has the same driving component as a gasoline or diesel fuel unit unless the unit takes mechanical power from the vehicle engine through a specially installed power release unit typically mounted on a vehicle transmission. Power is usually delivered through the driving shaft or hydraulic pump and motor. The heating solution is with a vehicle exhaust heat exchanger, heating heater or LPG heater heater. The advantage is quieter walking and lighter weight in addition to not having to maintain a second engine. The disadvantage is to add extra hours to vehicle engines and transmission. The PTO system is also usually vehicle specific so transferring truckmount to another brand or vehicle model will require a new PTO system to be installed.

A heat exchanger or water heater is plugged into a machine to heat water through a flue manifold system. Instead of heat exchangers, some engines have boiler-controlled thermostats that use liquefied natural gas (LPG).
A chemical injection system is in place that injects a chemical carpet cleaner into the solution path at low pressure or high pressure side, depending on the engine model.
Most machines have a mixer tank/water box which is a reservoir tank for storing water for high pressure pumps on demand.
Some machines have magnetic water softeners installed to prevent mineral buildup to protect pipe components. Some systems in America pair the deionizer to the pipes to purify water to protect the pipe components and provide a larger cleaning effect.

The vacuum hose is connected to the carpet cleaning rod, sends dirty water to the waste tank, and the solution hose that pumps high pressure water and chemicals from the high pressure system to the carpet cleaning rod.
Truckmount accessory
Cleaner is connected to vacuum and solution hose. Cleaning attachments such as coatings for cleaning upholstery, and electric heads and turntops for carpets, can also be used to further increase productivity and improve yields on certain types of carpets and soil conditions. Engagement on the machine is also an important factor in providing the right amount of solution and also the solution extraction. A well-equipped operator will often have a large percentage of the cost of the machine invested in the accessories, to achieve optimal results.
The hose reel can be thrown onto the floor of the van to store the vacuum hose and hose solution. More recently, electric rolled hose reels have been introduced to allow for faster storage of hoses.
The main water tank is often installed on the floor of the van. It holds fresh water, supplies water directly to high pressure pumps or mixer tanks. When such a water tank is installed, the on-demand supply pump is bolted to the main water tank, supplying water to the mixer tank or high-pressure pump.
Where limited space is available, and fresh water tanks can not be installed, the machine will retain the demand tank, but will be fed from an outdoor "garden" tap via a separate supply hose reel. This, of course, requires that the property has an external cold water tap, which can be difficult to find on some commercial sites. However, by carrying different fittings, the faucet locks (for taps that have their grip removed to avoid unwanted water use), and enough hose on the reel, the cleaners will usually be able to handle this situation.
